Building Consent Advice
All buildings accessed by the public require Council consent for new building, alterations and refurbishments. These all have fire safety implications. The New Zealand Building Code is the minimum standard and the measure against which any changes must be appraised.
Early discussions with the Crossfire team while designs are being developed is advised so that the process is as efficient as possible for the client. Our advice covers building code requirements, support documentation and reporting to smooth the consent application and processing.
